For Ages 6 and Up

Taekwondo is action philosophy. It’s not only a combat sport but a way of life for enthusiasts around the globe.

The word Taekwondo is made up of three Korean words: Tae, meaning to kick or jump; Kwon, meaning fist or hand; and Do which means “the way.”

Taekwondo is the most scientifically accurate form of traditional Korean martial arts. Teaching more than fighting skills the discipline shows ways to enhance the spirit and life through training the body and mind. It is also an official Olympic sport.

Vanyo Martial Arts puts an emphasis on Gwon Gyokdo, which combines Taekwondo and Muay Thai. We offer classes for all age groups and believe everyone, regardless of background, has a chance to empower their lives through the martial arts.
